If it feels like there is always something new popping up around Coastal Delaware lately, you are not imagining it!
From new restaurants and shops to businesses that are still getting ready to open, there is a lot happening across Rehoboth, Bethany, Millsboro, and Selbyville right now, and these are some of the latest spots to have on your radar:
Now Open
Postal Pony
Postal Pony is now open in Millsboro, and it is the much-needed one-stop shop for shipping, printing, and other everyday business needs.
The owners came up with the idea after having trouble finding reliable local shipping options.
This led them to create an independent concept that focuses on convenience and flexibility.
You can bring in something that is already packed and ready to go, or you can give the team an unwrapped item, and they will take care of everything, even for delicate or unusual items like antiques and estate sale finds.
In addition to shipping with UPS, FedEx, and USPS, they also offer printing, copying, scanning, and notary services, as well as mailbox rentals that come with a real street address.
This is super beneficial for, say, long-distance customers who could use a Postal Pony mailbox to receive mail locally while finishing construction on their new Delaware house, or even for local business owners who don’t want everything going to their home address.
It’s the kind of place you may not think about until you need it, but once you do, it will really help.

Claws Seafood House
Claws Seafood House has officially opened its new location in Bethany Beach, bringing a well-known Delaware favorite to a new stretch of the coast.
Originally established on Rehoboth Avenue back in 2006, Claws built its reputation around a lively, casual atmosphere, fresh seafood, and its signature all-you-can-eat crab specials that keep people coming back year after year.
This new spot carries that same energy and menu, now positioned to serve customers in Bethany.
The opening in the first weekend of April drew a strong crowd, setting the tone for what the team hopes will become another go-to summer destination.
Backed by FINS Hospitality Group, the expansion feels like a natural next step for a concept that already has a loyal following across the area.

Kaja Asian
Kaja Asian is now open in Rehoboth Beach, giving the area's restaurants a modern Asian dining option.
The Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 31st, giving it an official welcome into the local dining scene.
The idea behind the restaurant is to mix traditional Asian cooking with modern techniques, with a focus on bold, balanced, flavor-forward dishes.
Bryan Emporer, an award-winning chef, is in charge of the kitchen.
The space is designed to feel intimate and contemporary, matching the restaurant’s emphasis on precision, creativity, and consistency.
Kaja adds a fresh new option in Rehoboth for anyone looking for Asian cuisine that feels refined and welcoming at the same time.

Bay Laurel Home & Garden
Bay Laurel Home & Garden has already opened its garden center in Rehoboth, with more still on the way as the full concept continues to come together.
The old Farmer Girl Exotic Gardens house has been turned into a new place that brings back a familiar garden destination, but with a focus on design and a higher level of quality.
You can now look through a carefully chosen selection of patio furniture, outdoor lighting, ceramics, and plants that will help you make your outdoor spaces feel like an extension of your home.
Over time, the store will grow to include a full nursery, decorations for inside and outside the home, and a home shop that will open soon with linens, fake plants, and other design items.
The people working on the project are experienced local business owners and former garden center staff, which is clear in both the choice of plants and the level of service that is already in place.
- Address: 18940 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach
- Hours: Monday-Saturday from 8am to 5pm; Sunday from 10am to 3pm

Opening Soon
Sea Glass Bistro
Sea Glass Bistro is getting ready to open in Rehoboth Beach, taking over the former Eden space, just steps from some of the busiest parts of downtown.
The location itself has a long history, previously home to Eden and, before that, The Ocean Club.
It also sits within a larger stretch of properties tied to the upcoming Atlantic Crowne hotel project, which is set to bring even more activity to that spot.
While details about the menu and concept are still limited, the location alone puts it in a high-visibility area that naturally draws locals and visitors throughout the season.
If you look it up on Google, the address is already showing as 23 Baltimore Avenue, which gives a little more confirmation that the move into that former Eden space is already taking shape.
- Opening date: TBD
- Address: 23 Baltimore Ave, Rehoboth Beach

Ledo Pizza
Ledo Pizza is coming soon to Rehoboth Avenue, in the former 5 Guys location, adding a well-known Mid-Atlantic chain to the area.
Driving down the avenue, you can see the signage in the glass windows of the popular brand taking over the space with no official opening date just yet.
Originally founded in Maryland in 1955, Ledo Pizza has built a strong following for its signature rectangular, thin-crust pizzas, known for their sweet sauce and thick-cut pepperoni.
With more than 100 locations across the region, the brand has a long track record and a very recognizable style that stands out from more traditional pizza spots.
For a lot of people here, this isn’t just another pizza place opening, it’s something they grew up with and already have a connection to, so they are psyched to get another location even steps from their beach days.
- Opening date: TBD
- Address: 47A Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach
A Moment Café & Skating Rink
A new skating rink and a Moment Café are both planned for downtown Selbyville.
The café will be the first to open. It will have coffee, ice cream, and a place for people to relax and spend time together.
On weekends, there will be live Christian music, meeting space, and even apartments above.
Later this year, the skating rink will open inside the old J. Conn Scott Furniture building.
It is being completely renovated and redesigned to include skating, arcade games, food, and other interactive features.
The goal of both spaces is to give people a place to get away from screens and really connect with each other.
A big part of this is giving families and younger residents things to do in their own neighborhoods.
- Opening date: Spring of 2027
- Address: 2 E. Church Street (Café); 6 E. Church Street (Skate Rink)
