Knowledgeable DBW guides, including Chris Bennett, Anthony Gonzon, Russ Kovach, and Jim Rapp, share their expertise as you scan the bay for scoters and other seasonal wildlife, making the outing educational and exciting. 

The cruise is also part of the Winter Delmarva Dogfish BirdINNg Weekend in partnership with Dogfish INN and Dogfish Head, creating a full weekend atmosphere for nature lovers.

Virtual Photo Beach Bash - Coastal Camera Club

Photography enthusiasts of all skill levels can log in for a full day of inspiration during the Virtual Photo Beach Bash presented by the Coastal Camera Club. 

This 6th annual event features internationally renowned photographers Charles and Melissa Needle leading two in-depth Zoom sessions designed to push your creativity further than ever. 

Melissa’s presentation on next-level iPhone photography explores hidden camera features, helpful accessories, and creative editing apps that can transform everyday snapshots into painterly images, while Charles dives into impressionistic photography techniques using long exposure, multiple exposure, and even smartphone tools to turn your camera into a paintbrush. 

The club has built a strong reputation for attracting respected speakers from around the world, and this year continues that tradition with a program that blends technical skill building and artistic vision. 

The event is free to the first thousand registrants, and donations support scholarships for Delaware Technical Community College photography and videography students.
