A beloved staple of Rehoboth Beach, Zelky’s is celebrating 40 years of family fun with a yearlong celebration and the opening of an exciting new rooftop mini golf course.
From One Arcade to a Local Legacy
Zelky’s opened its doors in 1985, when founder Chuck Weiner transformed a former bathhouse and bowling alley into a vibrant arcade filled with classic games like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.
He even pioneered ticket redemption games in Rehoboth Beach, turning wins into prizes and unforgettable memories.
Today, the arcade has grown into three popular locations:
- Two locations on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk
- One at Tanger Outlets Bayside
The Zelky’s experience has become a summer tradition for generations of families—and it all started with one man’s dream to create a place where everyone could come to have fun.
A New Way to Play
To celebrate four decades of fun, Zelky’s has launched a new rooftop mini golf course.
With views of the Rehoboth Beach skyline and a brand-new way to play, this addition is already delighting visitors and adding fresh excitement to the iconic arcade experience.
Still a Family Business
Chuck’s son, Matt Weiner, has played a key role in carrying the family’s vision forward.
“We’re so grateful for the generations of families who have made Zelky’s part of their summer traditions,” Matt said. “This anniversary is about celebrating everything we love about the arcade and making it even better for the future.”
