A little bit about me...
Tyson “Ty” Mayers was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. While following his career as a PGA Professional, Ty relocated to Rehoboth Beach in September of 1993 to assume the role of Head Golf Professional at Kings Creek Country Club. In his career of over 25 years in the golf industry, Ty developed the art of listening carefully, paying attention to all the intricate details, and how to exercise exemplary customer service skills in all situations; all of which he utilizes daily with all his real estate clients.
Ty started his real estate career in 2007 as a loan originator for a local mortgage company. While working with the mortgage company, Ty effectively used an array of loan programs to finance the needs of clients, such as first-time homebuyers, second/vacation home buyers, and real estate investors. Today, he has found that experience to be an invaluable learning tool for his career. Working in the mortgage industry and dabbling in the real estate market set a clear picture for the path he wanted to take going forward. In 2009, Ty’s full time, exclusive real estate business began. He quickly worked his way to being a Top 5 REALTOR with his company through Delaware and south eastern Pennsylvania, which led to the quick rise in becoming a member of that company's “Hall of Fame.” Building lifelong relationships and making Sussex County his full-time home for over 30 years, along with his background in the service industry and finance, makes him a single point of contact for all your home buying or selling needs.
Ty continues to call Rehoboth Beach home along with his fiancé, Merle, and their three loving Cavalier King Charles’. When Ty is not working with buyers in finding their next dream home or sellers aligning to move on to the next stage of their lives, you will find him playing golf with his friends or relaxing by boat at one of the sandbars in the Rehoboth Bay.
