Summer is right around the corner, and for families in coastal Delaware, that means it’s time to start planning exciting activities for the kids.
Whether your child is into sports, nature, the arts, or STEM, there are plenty of amazing summer camps in the area to keep them engaged and having fun all season long.
We’ve rounded up a variety of 2025 summer camps available across the Delaware coast to help you find the perfect fit!
Arts & Theater Camps
For creative kids who love painting, acting, crafts or storytelling.
Rehoboth Art League Summer Camps
The Rehoboth Art League offers several summer camps! They occur from Monday to Friday, with prices being $195 for members, and $230 for non-members.

Art in Nature
Campers will explore the RAL gardens for fascinating objects in nature. There will be a treasure hunt for rocks, flower petals, twigs, leaves, and other outdoor surprises.
The colors, shapes, and textures they observe will inspire their unique drawings, paintings, and sculptures.

Multicultural Art
Student Campers will learn about some of the art of other cultures of the world and create artwork in a variety of mediums that will help them understand the unique stories and meanings of them.
The students will look at the underlying concepts of other cultures while creating works of art that reflect and tell their own personal stories based upon these concepts.

Art Through History
Every day, campers will learn about an important movement in art history.
Who were the big players? What makes these movements special? What techniques did those artists use?
Students will explore painting, drawing, mixed media, and collage.

Hip to Be Square
Everything around us is formed by shapes. Campers will break down objects and pictures into simple shapes. Using mixed media, campers will combine shapes, textures, and colors to create masterpieces!

More Inspiring Artists
Campers will create a work of art inspired by a famous artist! Each day, a new artist will be introduced. They will use different ways to create paintings and sculptures.
The artists explored are: Matisse, Haring, Kusama, Picasso, and Warhol.

Capturing Nature
Kids will be able to channel their inner naturalist and explore the world around them through experimentation in paint, ink, and pastel.
In this camp they will learn how to represent landscapes, wildlife, and natural textures through various art forms and being inspired by artists throughout history.

Rehoboth Summer Children Camps
Theater Camp
Each week, young actors audition for roles and rehearse a play for a Friday afternoon performance.
In addition, campers join in a variety of theater games that help develop stage and communication skills!

Film Camp
Step into the exciting world of filmmaking with Cinematic Chaos, a short video that tells the story of Film Camp 2024. Follow RSCT campers as they dive into the fast-paced, intense and fun-filled process of creating a movie.
The adventure may be intense, but the rewards are huge: New friends, unforgettable experiences and multiple films to be proud of!

Clear Space Summer Camps
Clear Space Theatre’s Summer Camp Intensives in downtown Rehoboth offer kids a chance to shine on stage just steps from the beach.
Campers spend a week immersed in acting, singing, and dancing, guided by industry professionals.
Each session mirrors a real theater production process, ending in two free performances for family and friends.
With five themed camps for various age groups, including one focused solely on acting, spots fill up fast, so early registration is encouraged.
- Week 1: July 7 to July 11 (grades 1-3); Week 2: July 14 to July 18, 2025 (grades 4-6); Week 3: July 21 to July 25, 2025 (All Ages); Week 4: July 28 to August 1, 2025 (grades 7-12)

Critter Camp
Critter Camp offers a full day of summer fun for kids, with optional after-care available.
Campers enjoy a variety of activities, arts and crafts, and even get a 2025 Critter Camp T-shirt.
This year, the camp expands to include Fridays at the Animal Rescue Center, giving kids a hands-on look at animal care in action.

Sports Camps
For kids who can’t stay still and love to run, jump, and play.
Tower Beach FC Summer Camp
This year, summer camps will be hosted by Delaware FC South. Youth participants can register online. Check out the 2 options:
Youth 9v9 Co-Ed Summer League
Co-ed youth soccer games will be held on Tuesday nights throughout June and July. The league is open to players born in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
High School Boys 11v11 Summer League
This league will take place on Thursday nights in June and July. High school teams can register together, or players can sign up individually and request to be placed on a team.
Note: All camps will be held at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes.
Camp Oowassis
Traditional Camp
The Oowassis camp week is fun-filled and action-packed!
Campers (K – 5th grade) will experience a variety of activities including arts and crafts, team-building activities, character development, outdoor games, swimming and more!

- Days and Time: Monday – Friday (9 am – 4 pm)
- Cost: $240 (Member rate per week); $315 (Non-member rate per week)
Note: Extended care is offered from 7 am – 9 am and 4 pm – 6 pm at no additional cost.
Specialty Camps
The specialty camps offer tailored experiences focused on specific interests or activities.
Unlike traditional summer camps that provide a broad range of activities, specialty camps immerse campers in a specific subject, skill, or hobby.

Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Camp
The Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Camp is an overnight residential camp for girls, and it is open to players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
Campers receive field hockey training in a structured, immersive environment designed to improve skills, build teamwork, and foster a love for the game.

Game Breaker Lacrosse Camp
GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps offer a summer lacrosse camp at Beacon Middle School in Lewes, Delaware.
The camp focuses on developing stick skills, positional techniques, and team play, with daily scrimmages to apply what players learn.
Full-day and half-day options are available, making it a flexible and fun environment for athletes to improve their game.

Marine Science Camp
The New Logic Marine Science Camp offers engaging, hands-on marine ecology education for kids and teens across several coastal towns.

Cape Henlopen State Park Summer Camps
Cape Henlopen State Park offers a variety of nature-based summer camps for kids ages 5–10, with both half-day and full-day options.
Younger campers (ages 5–6) can join themed half-day sessions like Seashore Superheroes, Creative Creatures, and Tail Tales, each designed to spark curiosity about local wildlife.
Full-day camps for ages 7–10 dive deeper into science, art, and outdoor adventure, with programs like Colorful Cape, Science is Real!, Time Travelers, and Cape Creepy Crawlies.
With hands-on activities, storytelling, and exploration throughout the park, these camps are a great way for kids to connect with nature while having fun.

Beach, Surf & Water Camps
For little beach lovers and water adventurers.
Children’s Surf Camps
There's nothing better than a day at the beach, especially when you're a kid. If your kids want some fun in the sun, then you can sign them up for a children's surf camp at RB Surf Boarding School.
Their three-day and five-day kids' surf camps are the most exciting way to spend the summer.
Kids will learn all about surfing, water safety and the importance of the local coastline while making plenty of new friends.

Sailing School
The Cape Critters Program is a half-day sailing camp for children ages 5 to 7 with no sailing experience, focused on water safety, teamwork, and basic sailing skills using Hobie Waves.
The Weekday Sailing School is for ages 8 to 18 and teaches sailing fundamentals through full-day or half-day sessions, with students grouped by experience and learning on various boats.
The Junior Racing program is for advanced sailors ages 8 and up who want a more intensive sailing experience and have at least three weeks of prior sailing instruction.

Junior Lifeguard Program
The Rehoboth Beach Patrol’s Junior Lifeguard program is designed to increase the self-confidence, physical conditioning, and ocean awareness of participants.
It engages participants both physically and mentally. Physical activities such as running, swimming, sit-ups, and pushups are interspersed with learning beach rules and guarding skills.

- Ages: Group A (ages 14-15), Group B (12-13), Group C (9-11), and Group D (6-8)

Other Super Cool Camps
Camps that mix it all, the classic summer experience with a bit of everything.
Computer Kids Club
This 3-hour in-person camp is designed for students in grades K–5 to explore technology through fun, hands-on activities.
Campers will learn typing, beginner coding, digital art, math skills, and how to use Google Suite applications.
The program also includes short educational videos about the pioneers of personal computing and modern tech tools.

Sonshine Equine Pony Camp
Sonshine offers a unique program, providing Equine Assisted Activities, Horsemanship training as well as riding.

Camp Arrowhead
