Catch a Summer Performance at Freeman Arts Pavilion

Located in Selbyville, the Freeman Arts Pavilion hosts a full season of open-air entertainment with a small-town coastal vibe. 

The summer lineup includes big-name musicians like 311 and Trombone Shorty, comedy from stars like Jim Gaffigan, and family-friendly performances like “Aladdin” by the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre. 

With a variety of food trucks, drink vendors, and open space to enjoy the show, this is always commented as one of the best spots to enjoy live music in our entire area & there is sure to be one show for every music lover in their summer season lineup!

Attend the Annual Outdoor Show w/ the Rehoboth Art League

More than 100 artists and artisans from around the country will display and sell their fine art & prints amidst the Rehoboth Art League's campus during the first two weekends of August.

The annual Outdoor Show is a juried event yielding exceptional work, and many of the artists actively enjoy demonstrating their creativity during each day of the show.

This is an event full of activities, including great food, live music, artist demonstrations, gallery exhibits, beautiful gardens, the historic Peter Marsh Homestead, and full of local treats making an appearance throughout the day for separate purchase for visitors, all supporting the Rehoboth Art League mission.

The Marine Education, Research & Rehabilitation (MERR) Institute is the heart of marine conservation in Delaware, responding to stranded dolphins, whales, seals, and sea turtles across the state. 

Volunteers support MERR’s mission by assisting with rescue operations, data collection, and public education about these incredible species and how each person can play a part in preservation of our wonderful coastline. 

This is a meaningful way to get involved, and a chance to learn, connect, and contribute to the protection of our coastal ecosystem.
