Cape Henlopen State Park Trails Cleanup
The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park announced its 2025 National Trails Day cleanup!
Along with the Friends group, preserve our Park Coalition encourages visitors and community members to gather at the Officer's Club in the park to help clear litter and debris from the trails and beaches.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring small trash bags and wear closed-toe shoes, hats, and gloves. Insect repellent is suggested. Those who have their own grabber/pickup tools are asked to bring them along.
The Village Improvement Society of Rehoboth Beach will provide a barbecue lunch following the cleanup.
Besides that, each volunteer will receive a commemorative T-shirt, while they last.
