Possum Point Players has added a special matinee of Little Women to their performance schedule for 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, at Possum Hall, which is located at 441 Old Laurel Road in Georgetown, Delaware.
In addition to this matinee, the show will be performed on the following dates:
- Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th
- Friday to Sunday, April 11th to 13th
Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees will start at 2 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 302-856-4560.
The Story of ‘Little Women’
This stage adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel is set to music and tells the heartwarming story of the March family during the Civil War.
The production follows the four March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, as they navigate the challenges of growing up, love, loss, and hope while their father is serving as chaplain.
Their wise mother, Marmee, serves as the backbone of their family while their father is away.
A talented cast of 10 area actors and singers, along with four understudies, bring these beloved characters to life on the local stage for all to enjoy.
The show features various characters from the book who bring joy, conflict, and even a little romance to the stage.
