Coastal Delaware is buzzing with exciting new openings this month, from fresh seafood spots to stylish retail shops and revamped local favorites!

Whether you’re craving sushi, picking up gourmet snacks, or just looking for a better way to do laundry, there’s something new to check out this month for everyone!

Ocean 99

This new restaurant, in the former Via Sophia location, offers a vibrant coastal-inspired menu featuring fresh seafood, hearty entrées, creative cocktails, and local craft beers.

Everything made from scratch and using locally sourced ingredients. Big hits are wild caught fish, seafood carbonara, & strawberry crushes!

FINS Oyster Bar & Grill

The Oyster Bar & Grill, replacing the JD Shuckers in Georgetown, invites seafood lovers to savor their freshest catches in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. 

From succulent oysters to perfectly grilled delights, this local gem promises a delightful dining experience that captures the essence of coastal cuisine.

Lago Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar

After months of anticipation, Lago Asian Cuisine and Sushi in downtown Milton has opened its doors.

Besides sushi and sashimi, the menu also includes curry, noodle bowls, fried rice and General Tso’s chicken. The cherry blossom mural is quite the statement in their new place!

Flora & Fauna

Flora & Fauna is a retail cheese shop and gourmet grocer, featuring chef-prepared baguette sandwiches, salads, to-go dinners, beach snacks, and more fresh local produce, locally baked breads. Their full menu is coming soon!

There is also a curated selection of artisan & locally produced groceries & gifts.

Rehoboth Hardware

The former Quillen’s Hardware at the entrance to Rehoboth Beach was revamped, rebranded, and remodeled into an old school hardware store!

Bubbles & Suds Laundromat

Bubbles and Suds, in the heart of Rehoboth Beach, is now under new ownership and offering a fresh, friendly take on laundry day. 

With state-of-the-art machines, a cozy atmosphere, and great service, this new laundromat makes it easy to get your laundry done without the stress.

Life is Good

Life is Good, the self-described original positive lifestyle brand, has opened a store in Rehoboth Beach.

The new clothing store is located in what was previously the longtime home to Sharee’s Fashions.
