The St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festivities turns parade day into an all-day hangout at Milton Theatre Quayside.

Annual Milton St. Patrick's Day Parade

The annual Milton St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a hometown favorite that keeps getting bigger every year, with roots going back to 2008 when Irish Eyes wanted to create something that gave back and helped them connect more deeply with the town.

What started with just a dozen entries has grown into a major community tradition, reaching more than 75 entries in recent years.

Over time, the parade has also become closely linked to local fundraising and community support, with beneficiaries that have included the Milton Fire Department, the Milton Chamber of Commerce, and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

This year’s Grand Marshal is Milton’s own Allen Jackson, honored for an incredible tribute run of 343 miles in full fire gear while carrying an American flag to recognize the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on September 11th.

Between the hometown pride, the growing scale, and the mission behind it, this is the kind of parade that feels festive while still highlighting what it looks like when a town shows up for the people and causes it cares about.
