Peninsula Gallery presents She Who Shines: Mystical Imagery of Femininity, an exhibition celebrating artistic interpretations of womanhood through the work of Kathy Daywalt, Deborah Johnson, Rachel Romano, and Pritha Srinivasan. 

Each artist brings a unique perspective to the theme, exploring feminine identity, strength, and mysticism through their own visual style.

Opening Weekend at The Starboard

The Starboard is kicking off its 2026 season with an energetic opening weekend packed with live music, dancing, and plenty of festive vibes. 

You can enjoy performances from Decade 80, Kristen & the Noise, Bryen O’Boyle, and La Unica, bringing a mix of upbeat sounds to celebrate the long-awaited reopening. 

There’s also an Irish dance presentation on Sunday, adding St. Patrick’s Day vibes to the celebration. 

With music, entertainment, and the lively atmosphere The Starboard is known for, this is the perfect way to welcome the new season in Dewey.

Shamrocks in Paradise at Paradise Grill

Paradise Grill is bringing the St. Patrick’s Day spirit to the waterfront with Shamrocks in Paradise, a lively weekend celebration filled with music, food, drinks, and nonstop fun. 

You’ll be able to experience live performances throughout the weekend while soaking in the festive atmosphere and plenty of Irish-themed energy.

The lineup includes performances from Spike & Friends, DJ Getbusy, the Sprowl Brothers Bag Pipers, Soul Chase, Cup of Joe, and Lower Case Blues, creating a lively soundtrack for the celebration.

There are also Irish-themed drink specials, including green Miller drafts, Guinness, Jameson shots, and Irish Slammers. 

The festivities also mark the grand return of the outdoor patio bar, officially kicking off patio season with sunshine, cold drinks, and plenty of reasons to celebrate with friends.

Greek Wine Dinner at Fish On

Fish On is hosting a special Greek Wine Dinner that pairs a thoughtfully crafted menu by Chef Ian with a curated selection of wines. 

Guided by Johnny Livanos from Diamond Wine Importers, the evening takes guests on a flavorful journey through the country with dishes like taramasalata with grilled pita and vegetables, dolmades with seasoned rice and lamb, garides saganáki with roasted shrimp, olives, blistered tomatoes and feta, and braised pork shoulder served with roasted potatoes and kefalotiri cheese. 

Each course is carefully paired with a Greek wine that complements the flavors of the dish, finishing the experience with a sweet melopita dessert topped with crushed pistachios and orange syrup alongside a sparkling rosé from Macedonia.

Young at Art Exhibition at Rehoboth Art League

The Rehoboth Art League’s annual Young at Art exhibition highlights the creativity of young artists from local communities, featuring a wide selection of artwork created by students from both public and private schools. 

Developed in collaboration with area teachers, the exhibition gives many participants their first opportunity to see their work displayed in a professional gallery setting. 

The event also recognizes outstanding pieces with a variety of awards and scholarships, including Best in Show honors and several awards of excellence, celebrating the talent and imagination of the next generation of artists.

Rise Against Hunger Food Packaging Event at Sussex Central High School

Sussex Central High School is hosting a community-wide Rise Against Hunger food packaging event that brings together volunteers to help prepare meals for people facing food insecurity around the world. 

In previous years, hundreds of volunteers have worked together to package thousands of meals that were distributed through food programs in countries including Haiti, Zambia, and Vietnam. 

The event welcomes both adults and children who want to make a difference while working side by side with others in the community to help provide nutritious, shelf-stable meals for those in need. 

Community members can also support the effort through financial contributions that help fund the meal packaging and distribution programs.

Rodgers & Hammerstein Broadway Cabaret at Milton Theatre

“Choose Your Own” Resin Mold Class at Shore Marketplace

Shore Marketplace is hosting a hands-on resin art class where people can create their own custom project using molds and a wide variety of decorative materials. 

Participants will be able to design their piece with options like sand, mica powders, charms, mini shells, and colored crushed glass, then learn each step of the process from mixing the resin to pouring it into the mold for the finished look they want. 

Melanie and Ed Roche of M & E Creations will guide the full experience, and all materials are included, with project options available in limited quantities for starfish sets, bowls, and octopus designs. 

Since the artwork needs 3 full days to dry, completed pieces will stay at the market for later pickup.

Red Carpet Event at Cinema Art Theatre
