July 17th-19th: Your Weekend Guide in Coastal Delaware

There is no shortage of things to do in Coastal Delaware this weekend. 

From live theater, beach concerts, and late-night music to farmers’ markets, yoga classes, birding, and community events, July 17th through 19th has plenty of reasons to get out and make the most of summer.

Rehoboth Beach Pride

Rehoboth Beach Pride offers a diverse mix of celebration, connection, and community programming. 

The festival will feature live performances, workshops, meetups, and discussions about topics such as unhoused LGBTQ+ youth, trans and nonbinary youth, recovery, HIV and STI prevention, and community support. 

You can also find family-friendly programming, peer-led meetups, book signings, an interfaith service, and evening entertainment, making this more than a one-day festival. 

It was designed to be a place for LGBTQ+ people in the region to come together, learn, celebrate, and support one another.

Rehoboth Bay Pride

Grease: Live Production at Milton Theater

Grease brings the music, energy, and drama of Rydell High to the Milton Theatre for its Summer 2026 mainstage production.

The show follows the Pink Ladies and Burger Palace Boys through teenage romance, friendships, and plenty of hand-jiving rock ‘n’ roll.

With familiar songs, 1950s style, and a completely live performance, this production gives audiences an up-close take on one of musical theater’s best-known stories.

Dimitra Yoga Weekend Classes

Dimitra Yoga has a full lineup of classes planned, with options that let you move, breathe, slow down, or reset depending on what your body needs. 

The schedule includes beach yoga in Lewes and Rehoboth, Hot Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, Silent Waves Yoga at Lewes Beach, Canalfront Park Yoga, and Reset.

The group has been offering yoga in Dewey Beach since 2017, and the daily summer schedule makes it easy to work in a little movement, fresh air, and calm before the rest of the day gets going. 

It’s a nice option if you’re looking for something low-key and beachy but still feels like you did something good for yourself.

West Side Creative Market

West Side Creative Market is a laid-back open-air market in Rehoboth Beach that features more than 20 local artists and makers, rotating food trucks, live music, drinks and a sense of community. 

It’s a great stop for those looking to shop for handmade goods, grab food from Brandylynns or Shore Island, jam to music by Devin Canfield, and support local creatives in a casual outdoor setting. 

It is also family-friendly, dog-friendly, free to attend, and easy to enjoy whether you are going for the shopping, the food, the music, or just the neighborhood vibe.

Fenwick Island Farmers’ Market at The Station 

Fenwick Island Farmers’ Market at The Station is a great Friday stop for fresh, local, and seasonal finds near Fenwick Island, Bethany Beach, and Ocean City. 

This verified producer-only market means vendors are selling only what they grow, bake, or make, so shoppers can browse local produce, flowers, baked goods, and more while supporting area farmers and makers. 

Since the market is set up at The Station parking lot, it is also easy to grab breakfast, coffee, or lunch after shopping.

Friends of the Millboro Public Library Annual Book Sale

The Friends of the Millsboro Public Library Annual Book Sale gives local readers a chance to browse affordable books while supporting the library.

Proceeds help fund materials, services, and programs that are not covered by the library’s regular budget.

Saturday is also Bag Day, when shoppers can fill a provided bag with books for $8.

Mean Girls: The Musical at Clear Space Theatre

Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series

The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand has two nights of classic music lined up this weekend, starting with On Bleecker Street and its tribute to Simon & Garfunkel on Friday.

Saturday shifts into a completely different sound with Echoes, a Pink Floyd tribute that brings the band’s atmospheric rock and iconic songs to the beach.

Both concerts are free, outdoors, and right by the boardwalk, making it easy to stop by for live music after dinner or a day at the beach.

It’s a solid weekend lineup for anyone who loves timeless songs, great tribute bands, and summer nights in Rehoboth.

Birding Basics at Delaware Botanic Gardens

Birding Basics is a casual morning walk through Delaware Botanic Gardens designed to introduce guests to the area’s local birdlife.

Participants will learn simple birding techniques, receive guidance on using binoculars, and look for different species while walking approximately one mile through the gardens.

The session is open to beginners and curious nature lovers ages 10 and older, with garden admission included and a limited number of loaner binoculars available.

Sundays at Nassau Valley Vineyards are a relaxed way to spend time outdoors with local vendors, live music, food, and locally made wine. 

You can shop for local produce, honey, jams, arts and crafts, and other vendor goods, then stay to hear music from artists like Jr. Wilson and Chatty, Matt Lafferty, Hot Sauce, Keith Mack, Ed Shockley, and more. 

Nassau Valley also has a full sangria bar made with its own wines, plus food from on-site vendors, and families are welcome to bring a chair or settle in at the vineyard for the afternoon.

With provided gear, rotating hosts, and a guest bartender each week, the night combines spontaneous music-making with a laid-back social atmosphere.
