Easter excitement is in the air, and that means it’s time for a local fan — favorite: Easter egg hunts!
From long-standing traditions to family-friendly festivals, communities across Coastal Delaware are gearing up for a colorful season of egg hunting and spring celebration.
Evans Park Egg Hunt
A fun community egg hunt with various start times for different age groups and the eggs will contain small toys and candy, as well as some special prize eggs! The egg hunts will be for different age groups as follows:
- Date: Saturday, April 12th
- Time: Starting at 10:00 AM – ages 0-3, 10:30 AM ages 4-6, 11:00 AM ages 7-10, and 11:30 AM will be for special needs individuals
- Location: Evans Park, Millville
Betty Madara Easter Egg Hunt
A 53-year-old tradition with games, age-grouped egg hunts, and a visit from the Easter Bunny for all the photos you would like to snap!
- Date: Saturday, April 12th
- Time: 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
- Location: Roots Landscaping – 36226 Dupont Blvd., Selbyville
Easter Eggstravaganza
River Church hosts a lively afternoon of egg hunts, games, food, and fun for kids ages 3 to 10! Bring the whole family for an early afternoon full of making memories!
- Date: Saturday, April 12th
- Time: 1 to 4 p.m.
- Location: The River Church – 35175 Roxana Road, Frankford
Family Easter Event and Egg Hunt
Palm Sunday event with crafts, glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, and a late afternoon egg hunt! Rain or Shine- if needed, the event will be moved inside. All ages welcome!
Egg hunt will be at 3:45pm.

- Time: 2 to 4 p.m.

Children’s Easter Party
An annual celebration with fun activities for kids hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7234 organization.

Dagsboro Community Easter Egg Hunt
Collaborative community event with multiple egg hunts by age group and homemade Easter eggs for sale! To ensure they have enough eggs for all the kids who attend, they have a google survey they ask you to fill out at this link here prior to attending!
- Date: Saturday, April 19th
- Time: 9 to 11 a.m.; hunts begin at 9:30 a.m.
- Location: Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department, Dagsboro
Frankford Egg Scramble
A festive scramble with egg hunts, games, and photo ops with the Easter Bunny! Egg hunts will be separated by age & there will be a designated section of time and open area of special needs individuals!
- Date: Saturday, April 19th
- Time: 12:00 to 2:00pm
- Location: Frankford Town Park, Frankford
