Music lovers and supporters of young artists won’t want to miss the 4th Annual Concert for the Kids, set to take place on Sunday, April 6, at 6 p.m. at the Lighthouse Cove Event Center in Dewey Beach.
This exciting event combines live music with a charity auction, all in support of Paul Kares, a nonprofit dedicated to helping young performing and culinary artists.
A Night of Incredible Music
This year’s concert features Bad River, an all-star band made up of former Bad Company and Little River Band members:
- Tony Sciuto (Little River Band)
- Paul Cullen (former Bad Company bassist and Paul Kares co-founder)
- Robbie LaBlanc (international recording artist)
- Alex Fitzkee (17-year-old percussionist)
Adding to the excitement, Eliot Lewis, known for performing with Hall & Oates, will be joining as a special guest.
Supporting Young Artists
In addition to top-tier performances, the concert will showcase talented young musicians:
- 5th Avenue Jazz Band, joined by Cape Henlopen High School’s jazz band, a Paul Kares grant recipient
- Southern Delaware School of the Arts’ seventh- and eighth-grade rock band
Making an Impact
Founded by Paul Cullen and Jim Rivette, Paul Kares has awarded over $40,000 in grants and scholarships to young artists.
Proceeds from the concert and live auction will continue to fund these efforts, supporting the next generation of musicians and culinary talents.
