The second part of this program will provide you with some basic birding tips on how to identify what you’re seeing with your new binoculars.

Bat Walk with Julie

Join Julie Walls for a short sunset walk along Turkle Pond Road to watch Eastern Red Bats emerge from the woods and swoop through the trees looking for moths. She will share information about Delaware bats and their behavior on the short walk along the road to observe the bats in flight.

Sunrise Yoga

You will be guided through yoga poses that promote flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. These sessions provide a rejuvenating, peaceful, and grounding yoga practice while enjoying the beautiful sunrise over the ocean. 

Sunset Yoga & Sound Healing

Held around the full moon & new moon, you will be guided through Moon Salutations & gentle, therapeutic yoga poses led by Tracy Southard. 

The class ends with a relaxing & rejuvenating sound healing with Himalayan metal bowls & other sound healing instruments.

Ocean Vayu Yoga

Move with intention as you stretch and strengthen your body, breathe deeply, and enjoy the calming atmosphere of the ocean. 

Whether you're new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, this class offers a welcoming space to reconnect with yourself in nature.

Bootcamp on the Beach

This class is for men, women, boys and girls, 12 and up, all fitness levels.  

The workout allows participants to challenge themselves and work as a fitness team while doing a combination of body weight training, calisthenics, speed and agility training, core training, functional strength training, and flexibility work.

H.I.I.T. (in the Park)

The instructor, Jessica Buckley, is certified in multiple group exercise classes and uses an approach that brings happiness, movement, and positivity for the overall wellness of every person.  

Her High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T.) incorporates stations, tabata, and coordinated group instruction for body weight strength training and cardiovascular fitness.

Pilates on the Beach

Participants overlook the ocean while they build a stronger body, develop long lean muscles, increase core strength, and improve overall health and well-being.  

The class also offers benefits for golfers, chronic pain and illness, osteoporosis, and prenatal/postnatal conditions.

Crush Out Cancer

The 10th Annual Crush Out Cancer event raises funds for Cancer Support Community Delaware through a fun and refreshing way, by donating 50% of crush drink sales. 

Proceeds help provide free support programs for individuals and families impacted by cancer. 

Both Big Chill Surf Cantina and its sister spot, Big Chill Beach Club, are joining in to support this meaningful cause.

Lewes Legends Evening Walking Tour

Lewes is rich with historic happenings, legends, and tall-tales, many of them involving a touch of the otherworldly. 

From the founding of Lewes in 1631 and the massacre of its settlement the following year, to the unknown sailors’ cemetery at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, some residents never seem to depart. 

This 90-minute walking tour will introduce you to stories of strange happenings in the town of Lewes the Ryves Holt House, and one of the most haunted places in Delaware the Cannonball House.
