Clear Space’s Summer Camps
Young performers can step into the spotlight at the Clear Space Theatre Summer Camps, one of the most well-known performing arts programs in Sussex County.
Since launching in 2004, these camps have welcomed thousands of students who want to explore acting, singing, and dancing while learning what it takes to produce a real theatrical performance.
The camps are open to students in grades 1 through 12 and offer both Musical Theatre Summer Intensives and Acting Summer Intensives.
Throughout the week, campers work with professional actors and arts educators who guide them through acting techniques, vocal instruction, choreography, and rehearsal processes.
Each camp mirrors the experience of preparing a professional stage production. By the end of the week, students perform a live show for family and friends, with two free performances held on the final day at 11am and 12pm.
In addition to instruction, campers receive a camp T-shirt, learning materials, and a student ticket to a Clear Space Theatre Summer Rep performance, along with a 20% ticket discount for family members attending with them.

GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps
For kids who want a more focused and competitive sports camp, GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps bring structured training and skill development to Lewes with separate programs for boys and girls.
These camps take place at Beacon Middle School, 19483 John J Williams Highway, Lewes, and are designed for players who want to sharpen their game during the summer in a more serious but still welcoming environment.
The camp is open to players ages 6 to 16 of all ability levels, so it can work for newer athletes as well as kids who already play regularly and want more reps, instruction, and game experience.
There are two session options for both boys and girls: July 13–16 and July 27–30.
For the boys' camp, check-in is at 9am each day. Full-day campers are dismissed at 3pm, while half-day campers finish at 12pm.
The full-day program is open to boys ages 6 to 16, and the half-day option is available for younger boys ages 6 to 9.
For the girls' camp, the structure is very similar, but the timing is slightly different.

Marine Science Camp
If your child is the kind of kid who is always collecting shells, asking questions about sea life, or getting excited about nature, Marine Science Camp could be one of the most exciting options on your list.
This camp uses a very hands-on, “feet-wet” learning style that gives campers the chance to experience what it’s actually like to work as a marine scientist in the field.
Instead of just hearing about coastal ecosystems, kids actively take part in things like seining, water quality testing, data collection, and other real-world science activities, all taught by actual scientists.
One of the best things about this program is that it’s offered in multiple Coastal Delaware locations, so families can choose the site and dates that work best for them.
Bethany Beach:
The camp is based at Ocean View Parkway Beach and may also include visits to James Farm and the Nature Center.
