Grease: Live Production at Milton Theatre

Milton Theatre is bringing Rydell High to the stage with a live production of Grease that leans into everything people love about the classic rock ‘n’ roll musical. 

Think leather jackets, poodle skirts, Pink Ladies, Burger Palace Boys, hand jives, and that 1959 energy brought into a more intimate theater setting. 

The show has both matinee and evening performances, so it works whether you want an afternoon outing or a night at the theater.

Daily Dewey Beach Yoga

The group has been offering yoga in Dewey Beach since 2017, and the daily summer schedule makes it easy to work in a little movement, fresh air, and calm before the rest of the day gets going.

Cape 75 Nature Hike at Seaside Nature Center

Cape 75 Nature Hike is a hands-on way to explore Cape Henlopen while celebrating 75 years of Delaware State Parks. 

You’ll use iNaturalist to help collect biological data, search for summer plants and wildlife, and take part in the Natural Heritage Survey.

The idea is to keep the discovery going beyond the hike by using the app to find 75 species in the park each month. 

This program is for ages 8 and up with an adult, and it is free with park entrance fee.

West Side Creative Market

The Lewes Antiques and Home Décor Sale at Bethel UMC is a good excuse to get out of the summer heat and spend a few hours browsing pieces with a little history and personality. 

You’ll find decorator items, collector pieces, jewelry, furniture, home décor, and other one-of-a-kind finds throughout the sale. 

While you are there, you can stop by the Bethel Deli for coffee or lunch, grab something homemade from the bake sale, and check out the “Priceless” Curiosity Shop, where you name the price on yard sale finds. 

A portion of the funds will support Clothing Our Kids and Family Promise, while the curiosity shop helps support women and children through Bethel Women’s Ministry.

Fresh Art Pop-Up Show: Ephemeral Tides at the Artpothecary

Fresh Art Pop-Ups brings experimental art, artist meet and greets, music, and cocktails to the Artpothecary, and this show has a strong coastal connection. 

Ephemeral Tides explores the fragile, changing nature of marine life through hand-formed ceramic sculptures inspired by octopuses, clownfish, dolphins, coral forms, sea slugs, and other sea creatures. 

Featured artist Mary Yeagley Bower uses texture, deep relief work, iron oxide, and layered glazes to give each ceramic piece dimension and movement. 

Her work draws from the small details of the natural world, turning ocean life into pieces that feel thoughtful, tactile, and closely tied to conservation.

Rehoboth Art League’s Open Pottery Studio gives you access to the tools and space needed to work on ceramic art in a real studio setting.

SODELO American Spirit, Coastal Soul: A Delaware 250 Salute

Southern Delaware Orchestra is marking America’s 250th anniversary and Delaware’s DE250 commemoration with a program that blends patriotic favorites, American classics, and new music by Delaware artists. 

The concert includes Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, The Stars and Stripes Forever, The U.S. Armed Forces Medley, and selections from United Sounds of America featuring Delaware Poet Laureates Al Mills and Nnamdi Chukwuocha with soprano Makeda Hampton. 

One of the local highlights is Coastal Delaware Suite by SODELO composer Brian Cox, with musical tributes to Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, and Bethany Beach.
